Essential Oil-Infused Insalata Caprese

I’ve always loved the amazing flavors of home-grown tomatoes and fresh basil splashed with balsamic and black pepper! And, since I much prefer the pungent taste of fresh parmesan over the mild, thick taste of cold mozzarella, this version is much more my style…

  • 6 Farm Fresh Sliced Tomatoes
  • 18 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1/4 C. Olive Oil
  • 2-3 T. Balsamic Vinegar
  • Fresh Black Pepper
  • 2 T. Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • 2-3 drops Young Living Black Pepper Vitality Essential Oil*
  • 1 drop Basil Vitality Essential Oil* (use a few drops more if you’re out of fresh basil leaves)

Construction: Layer tomatoes and basil leaves across plate as shown in photo. Drizzle with infused-olive oil, then with high quality balsamic. Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan and cracked black pepper. Enjoy!

*Mix essential oils into olive oil before drizzling over salad
