Soothing Balms & BUTTERS

Balms have been used for thousands of years across many cultures for healing and skin protection. In the Bible, balm is talked about as a valuable and healing substance (think “Balm of Gilead,”). It was prized for its soothing and medicinal properties (Genesis 43:11; Jeremiah 8:22, 46:11).

Ancient Egyptians used balms made of beeswax, resins, and fragrant oils for embalming and skincare. The Greeks and Romans crafted herbal balms to treat wounds and relieve pain, while traditional Chinese medicine used them to “balance energy” and support the body’s natural healing process.

Today’s balms carry on this important legacy, blending ancient tradition with modern natural wellness. Drawing from this rich tradition, I’ve created my own recipes for DIY balms, handcrafted with all-natural ingredients, and infused with the wisdom of generations.

Each balm is designed to nourish the body, calm the mind, and support wellness—just as nature intended. Whether you’re looking for comfort, clarity, or a touch of everyday healing, there’s a soothing balm here for you.
