I’ve always loved the amazing flavors of home-grown tomatoes and fresh basil splashed with balsamic and black pepper! And, since I much prefer the pungent taste of fresh parmesan over the mild, thick taste of cold mozzarella, this version is much more my style…
- 6 Farm Fresh Sliced Tomatoes
- 18 Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1/4 C. Olive Oil
- 2-3 T. Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh Black Pepper
- 2 T. Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
- 2-3 drops Young Living Black Pepper Vitality Essential Oil*
- 1 drop Young Living Basil Vitality Essential Oil* (use a few drops more if you’re out of fresh basil leaves)
Construction: Layer tomatoes and basil leaves across plate as shown in photo. Drizzle with infused-olive oil, then with high quality balsamic. Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan and cracked black pepper. Enjoy!
*Mix essential oils into olive oil before drizzling over salad.
