Rose – The Queen of Oils

Why Rose Is Called the Queen of Oils

Did you know it takes about 30–60 roses to make a single drop of rose essential oil — and nearly 10,000 to fill one tiny 5-ml bottle?

That’s why rose has always been considered one of the most precious botanicals on earth. It’s not just a fragrance… it’s concentrated life force.

Rose oil is:
deeply supportive for the heart & emotions
• shown to help calm grief, anxiety, and shock
• supportive of hormone balance and skin regeneration
• rich in natural compounds that support mood and nervous system regulation

This is why Rose has been used for centuries in healing, ceremony, and sacred anointing.

Rosa Damascena Flower Harvest

Rosa Damascena is one of the most delicate flowers on earth. To preserve the precious oil inside each petal, every rose must be gently hand-picked by skilled harvesters, one bloom at a time.

Harvest begins before sunrise, around 4 a.m., and is completed by mid-morning. The petals must still be kissed with morning dew, when their aromatic compounds are at their peak. Roses picked later in the day can contain up to 50% less essential oil.

From Petal to Precious Oil

It takes approximately 9,996 fresh roses to produce a single 5 ml bottle of pure Rosa Damascena essential oil. Just one bottle holds the living fragrance and concentrated essence of nearly 10,000 roses—a reminder of how rare and precious this oil truly is.

Imagine that — instead of receiving a dozen roses for your birthday or Valentine’s Day, you’re given 10,000 roses in a bottle… and they don’t wilt, fade, or die in a week. Enduring power and beauty.

But Rose becomes even more powerful when paired with other botanicals that work in harmony…
