The White Angelica blend is very different from the single oil, Angelica, that we talked about last week.
Each essential oil in White Angelica was carefully selected by expert, Dr. Gary Young, to help promote a positive, peaceful atmosphere. Ylang Ylang has a luxurious, velvety scent and is often used as a key note in perfumes. Bergamot is cold pressed from the bergamot fruit and adds a fresh, bright aroma. Although Melissa comes from the leaves of the melissa herb, it also has notes of citrus and is treasured for its gentle, comforting aroma.
Geranium has been used for centuries for its lovely, soft fragrance and skin-benefiting properties. The classic scent of Rose gives the blend a touch of sweet nostalgia and offers skin benefits. Myrrh, Hyssop, Black Spruce, and Sacred Sandalwood balance the sweet and fresh aroma of the floral and citrus oils with a deep, rich, earthy scent.
Remember, you were created with a purpose, and each day you have the ability to choose what tape to play in your mind. Embrace the Truth.
If you spend time in fields of work such as counseling, ministry, healthcare, teaching, and so many more, this oil can help as you work through your own emotions while you choose what to internalize or release. It can be easy to absorb and carry the emotional weight of those you serve, but it is important to release toxic emotions.
While you can love others and help support them, you cannot carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Learn boundaries. Speak love and life and release unnecessary stress. It doesn’t belong to you. If you absorb it, your health and well-being can be negatively affected. Even the Bible teaches us we are not made for these burdens – only One is able (Matthew 11:28-30).

Diffuse or apply over your heart, or on your temples.
As you apply your oils, remember that you are of great value! And that does not change with situations, opinions, or emotions, but is rooted in the fact that you were created with purpose by a Master Creator.
The segment below was written by RCD, Vicki Opfer, and is shared with permission
“While I’m not certain why Gary named it White Angelica, I first heard him mention it when I attended a class he taught in WY in 1996 for his sister, Nancy Sanderson. Someone asked about “sad thoughts” (edited for compliance) and he shared the 4 Oil Protocol:
1. Valor – Bottoms of the feet – (or on the wrists – holding them together for a few moments)2. Harmony – Solar plexus area above belly button3. Joy – Over the heart4. White Angelica – Gary said: “Take a drop in one hand, rub your hands together, and lightly brush over your head, shoulders, all the way down the body, as though applying an angelic shield.”
“I’m grateful to have captured that protocol that day, and it’s been shared throughout YL since – and has helped thousands of people. We originally called it the “Have a Great Day” protocol, and later shortened it to the “Happy Day” protocol. – Vicki Opfer
Another interesting story about White Angelica…..
When Gary created blends, he said he’d add oils together, and look at them under the microscope to see if they blended properly. This was because just like oil and water, some oils are “almost water soluble,” meaning they could easily go off into the floral water during distillation – if it’s done wrong – and other oils are definitely not water soluble. So how can you mix oils without understanding the art of blending? It’s not just an aroma thing or an “I like to put these oils together” thing. Gary said you couldn’t do that without a lot more expertise.
“As an example, he talked about when he created White Angelica. He said that he blended 9 oils together and looked under the microscope, and they did not blend together. He set that blend aside. He blended another 9 oils together (some were the same oils) and looked, and it didn’t blend well either. So he put both blends in the refrigerator, and went to bed.
“The next morning, he got up and went back to work… He got an idea to put the two blends together. They blended properly. So he said White Angelica was created by mixing 9 oils, mixing another 9 oils (some were the same), refrigerating overnight, and mixing them in the morning.” – Vicki Opfer
